Mangaluru, Mar 8: Two-day national level management and cultural fest Shriyans-2K25 was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru on March 6 and 7. As many as 39 teams from 25 degree colleges and 7 teams from MBA and MCom stream from various colleges participated in the fest. Prof Manjunath Kamath M, principal, Thrisha College of Commerce & Management, Mangaluru. Was the chief guest in the valedictory function who distributed cash prize, trophies and certificates to the winners of various colleges and also gave motivational speech to the students.
The overall winners in the UG event were the team SDM College, Ujire, overall runner up was Team Vivekananda College, Puttur. The best manager was won by student of SDM College, Ujire. In the marketing event first position went to SDM College, Ujire, and second position was secured by Srinivas University (IMC) Pandeshwar, Mangaluru.
In the Finance event first position went to SDM College, Ujire, and second position was secured by Maps College, Mangaluru. In the HR event first position went to Canara College, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by SDM College, Ujire. In the business quiz event, the first position went to Vivekananda College, Puttur and second position was secured by Maps College, Mangaluru.
In Squid Game first position went to St Agnes PG Centre Mangaluru, and second position was secured by Vivekananda College, Puttur. In group dance first position went to Canara College, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by St Philomina College, Puttur. In photography and videography first position went to SDM College, Ujire, and second position was secured by St Agnes PG Centre Mangaluru. In Mr & Ms Shriyans contest student from Vivekananda College, Puttur got the award of Mr Shriyans and student from St Agnes PG Centre Mangaluru got the award of Ms Shriyans.
In PG events, the best manager was won by student of SDM PG centre, Mangaluru. In the marketing event first position went to AJIET Mangaluru, and second position was secured by Sri Devi College, Mangaluru. In the finance event first position went to AJIET Mangaluru, and second position was secured by Sri Devi College, Mangaluru. In the HR event first position went to SDM PG centre, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by AIMIT- Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangaluru. In the public relations event, the first position went to Sri Devi College, Mangaluru, and second position was secured by AJIET Mangaluru.
The function was presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA department, Prof Prajwal B K, staff coordinator, Ullas Shetty and Rakshith student coordinators of the management fest were present on the occasion. Thanushree R J and Nayana were the master of ceremony on the occasion.
