Mangaluru: Srinivas University conducts informative national virtual conference 'MANEGMA'

Mangaluru, Dec 14: Srinivas University, College of Management & Commerce on December 12 organized the 17th one-day national virtual conference, MANEGMA 2020, on the topic 'Uncertainties & Challenges in the Uncertain Times'.

The conference was conducted in a completely online mode in line with today's essentialities. More than 100 participants participated online and many more viewed the proceedings through online social media links. 35 papers were received and presented by researchers nationally. Chancellor, CA A Raghavendra Rao and president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor, registrar Dr A Anil Kumar participated in the conference inaugural.

Vice-chancellor, Dr P S Aithal in the inaugural address elaborated on the university's research focus to give a better advantage to society and its development. Dr Ganesh H R, leading management consultant and CEO of Gramma Consulting, Bengaluru gave his insights on the trends and challenges for business and management in today's day and age in his keynote address. Dr Mathew C D, adjunct faculty of IIIT, Kottayam also delivered the keynote address. Professor Keerthan Raj, dean of the College of Management & Commerce welcomed the participants and delegates, Professor Amith Menezes spoke about Manegma as the convenor of the conference.

The conference was the first in a series of conferences planned by the university in the coming days.
