Mumbai, Apr 22: Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and his wife Pinkie Roshan celebrated a remarkable milestone on Monday – 54 years of togetherness, marking over five decades of enduring love and unwavering companionship.

Taking to social media, Rakesh Roshan shared a heartwarming photograph with his wife, captioned, “Together is a beautiful place to be. Happy 54th anniversary,” followed by a red heart emoji. Industry colleagues, including actor Ronit Bose Roy, extended warm wishes in the comments section.

Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan tied the knot in 1971 in an arranged marriage and have since journeyed through life’s highs and lows with unity and resilience. They are parents to Sunaina Roshan and Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The family continues to remain in the public eye, with Hrithik’s professional and personal life frequently making headlines.

In a past interview, Rakesh Roshan had fondly recalled the early years of marriage, highlighting Pinkie’s grace and support during tough times. “She came from a bungalow to a two-room apartment. She never complained and stood by me through financial hardships. That’s the strength of our bond,” he shared.

With Hrithik now a father to two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan, from his former marriage to Sussanne Khan, and currently in a relationship with actress Saba Azad, the Roshan family continues to be one of Bollywood’s most admired.
