Media Release

Mumbai (RBI) Apr 23: Ryan International School, Malad (ICSE) successfully hosted an inspiring and interactive session with its esteemed alumna, Simran, a national-level badminton champion.

The session was conducted both on campus and virtually for students across the Ryan International Group of Institutions, making it a truly enriching experience for all.

Simran shared her incredible journey-from being part of the victorious Indian Thomas & Uber Cup squad to representing India in prestigious championships like the 2022 & 2023 Badminton Asia Championships, the 2023 Dubai BAC, and the 2024 Uber Cup & BAC in China. She also holds gold medals in the Lagos International Classics 2024 and the Egypt International 2019 tournaments.

Her determination and goal to win a medal for India at the 2028 Olympics inspired the Ryanites, who also got an opportunity to interact with her and participate in a hands-on badminton session. It was a memorable day that left students feeling motivated and connected to the spirit of excellence that Ryan stands for.
