Mangaluru, May 18: Two tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, May 18.
The newly identified coronavirus patients are 30-year-old male and a 55-year-old female.
The man, a resident of Karopady in Bantwal, had returned from Raigad in Maharashtra and is under quarantine.
The woman, a resident of Yeyyadi, had fever and hence visited Wenlock hospital for test. She was diagnosed to have Severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) symptoms and later tested positive. She has been shifted to ICU.

The total number of cases in the district have now increased to 54. Thirty-three are currently active. As many as 16 persons have recovered and been discharged, and five deaths have occurred so far.
