Kundapur, Feb 21: The words of elders who said after suspicion and insult, felicitation, in the end, are meaningful. We should experience loss and celebrate when we win. Every felicitation is valuable for me. I express my gratitude to those who worked hard for my win particularly to the residents of Kundapur,” said private TV channel Big Boss reality show winner Kundapur resident Shine Shetty. He was speaking responding to the honour from his hometown at Hotel Chalukya International auditorium.
“Do not stop children if they are troubling or making fun. But let there be a certain amount of control over them. Such children have made great achievements in their future. I too was naughty when I was a child. It has brought me to this stage. The love and respect that I received from Kannadigas are more valuable than the money that I earned,” he said.
The quality of mud: Basrur Mahalingeshwara temple managing trustee B Appanna Hegde said that a boy born in the rural area making a countrywide name is a matter of pride for Kundapur. “It is the quality of mud here. It is an inspiration for young boys and girls. We must honour those who made a special achievement,” he said.
Hotel Chalukya International founder Rajiv Kotian, Venkataramana Pre-university college principal Ganesh Mogaveera, Rotary Midtown president Shashidhar Shetty, Shine Shetty’s father Sharath Chandra Shetty and mother Indira were present.
Hotel Chalukya Interantional’s Pradeep Kumar Shetty welcomed. Kodladi Subhaschandra Shetty gave an introduction. Suresh Shetty Salvadi conducted the programme
