Minor girl raped in train washroom in Telangana; accused being interrogated

Hyderabad, Apr 4: In a horrifying incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped and assaulted by a co-passenger inside a train washroom while traveling with her family, Telangana Government Railway Police (GRP) said on Friday.

The incident occurred on the morning of April 3, when a man in his 20s reportedly followed the girl to the washroom and subjected her to sexual assault. A case has been registered at the Secunderabad Railway Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

Authorities confirmed that the accused is currently being questioned.
