Mangaluru, Aug 31: St Aloysius (Autonomus) College, Konkani association celebrated Konkani Manyatha Diwas on August 30 at Eric Mathais Hall.
Concepta Fernandes, senior programme officer from Bengaluru AIR presided over the function and delivered the keynote address.
Fr Vincent Pinto, finance officer of St Aloysius College was the president of the function.
Flora Castelino and Renita Aranha, presidents of Konkani association were on the dais.
During the programme, prizes were distributed to the winners of the various competitions. The association members put up a cultural programme. After the programme, ‘Urba’ - Konkani short film by Rajesh Shet, Sai Creations, Mangaluru was screened.
Salomi Alvares welcomed the gathering and Haniya proposed the vote of thanks. Preema compered the programme.
