Mangaluru, Jan 17: The PG Student Council of St Agnes College (Autonomous) organized an interactive session for all PG students titled ‘Students Empowering Students’ on January 11, across various programmes, including MCom, MSc in psychology, MSc in clinical psychology, MA in English, MSc in chemistry, MBA, MCA, and big data analytics. The session commenced in the seminar hall of the Centenary Block.
The programme stood out for its innovative approach, where students themselves took the lead as resource persons, sharing their knowledge and skills with their peers. The student council president, Prathik Rai, extended a warm welcome to everyone and divided the participants into 10 groups for the first activity, which was a case study exercise. Each group was assigned a unique case study and given 15 minutes to prepare solutions. Following the preparation, the groups presented their solutions.
The second session was a fun activity involving various games with paper cups and balloons, which brought excitement and laughter to the participants. The session concluded with a quiz focused on general knowledge, engaging all participants in a lively and competitive atmosphere.
The interactive session, which successfully fostered teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm among the PG students, concluded by marking the end of an enriching and memorable experience.These sessions proved to be a significant step in preparing students for their future endeavors, equipping them with the tools necessary for personal and professional success.
