Mangaluru, Apr 16: With pride stolls and smiles shining brighter than ever, Mangala Group of Educational Institutions held its grand graduation ceremony on April 12 at Dr B R Ambedkar Bhavan, Urwa. The event marked a significant milestone in the lives of hundreds of students, celebrating their academic achievements and starting the next chapter of their journeys. Joy, pride, and new beginnings.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Prof Pratijna Suhasini, dean Mangala Group of Educational Institutions and principal Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences and Paramedical Sciences. The programme was presided by Dr Ganapathi P chairman, Mangala Group of Educational Institutions senior consultant, anaesthesiologist Mangala Hospital & Mangala Kidney Foundation, Mangaluru.









The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Shivaprakash, district surgeon, district medical officer Wenlock Hospital Mangaluru and the guest of honour Prof Rajesh Shenoy, member, National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions and director, Padmashree Group of Institutions, Bengaluru. The gold medal and rank holder students were felicitated by the guests. Dr Bharath K H principal Mangala College of Physiotherapy, Dr Marie Elizabeth Pinto, former principal, Mangala School of Nursing and New Mangala College of Nursing and Prof Rajesh Shenoy were felicitated for their excellent service and recognition in their respective field.
The programme was graced by the presence of Dr Thimmayya, district health officer (DHO) of Dakshina Kannada District, Dr Anitha G Bhat, vice chairman, Mangala Group of Educational Institutions senior consultant, anaesthesiologist Mangala Hospital & Mangala Kidney Foundation, Mangaluru. Prof Subrahmanya Nayak, principal, New Mangala College of Nursing & Mangala School of Nursing. Prof Geethalakshmi, vice principal, Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences and Paramedical Sciences.
A total number of 289 students were graduated from nursing, physiotherapy, allied health sciences and paramedical sciences. The programme hosted by Prof Shruthi and Prof Karthik Kamath.
