Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Apr 15: The police have come to the conclusion that two accused who had forced open the shutter of a wine shop at Ullal and stolen liquor were the ones who stole cash from Our Lady of Mercy Church, Paneer on April 2.

Relating to the incident, one of the accused was already held in connection with the wine shop theft. The other was arrested by Ullal police on Tuesday April 14. The thieves have been identified as Suhail (18) from K C Nagar, and Fayan (23), resident of Natekal.

The duo had stolen liquor worth Rs 23,000 from a MSIL wine shop loathed in Nityananda Nagar within Konaje police station limits on April 4. On the same night, they had forced themselves into the Paneer church, broken open the donation box, and taken away the money. They have also been charged with making a box in which the sacrament is kept, to fall down.

Leena, which Bible you're reading?? Jesus forgave those people who beat him, spat at him, brought false charges at him and crucified him. He did promised Paradise for the thief who showed compassion towards him.

    Which Bible you are reading.
Thief did not show compassion on Jesus. Just he acknowledged that being a thief he is serving a just sentence, while acknowledging that Jesus did not deserve the sentence that Jesus is serving for things he did, finally concluding to remember him while Jesus enters his kingdom.
    So compassion for what?

    There is no forgive,
    Verse 5:38
And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise. Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded that Aishah said that the Messenger of Allah said, "The hand of the thief shall be cut off if he steals a quarter of a Dinar or more".

Once a thief , always a thief...if these two are let go easily, they might get more daring and commit serious crimes later. Small amount or big amout, punish them harsly.

Breaking open "Tabernacle" is a small thing according to you Jossey Sir? Amount may be little but just calculate the amount to repair it again and measures to take up cleaning the "Tabernacle", a holy place which has become unholy by touching it?? Now people can't gather for holy hour and for mass for sanctifying it. ... Just think over the problems...
