Puttur, Apr 14: The Valsad district of Gujarat has been asked to provide proper housing and food for two men from Puttur, who have been living in a car for the past 21 days. The deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada Sindhu B Rupesh took cognisance of the matter and wrote a letter addressed to the district collector of the Valsad district in Gujarat.

The two people identified as Ashik Hussain and Mohammed Takeen Maril from Puttur are reportedly stuck at the RTO check post of Ambergaon, Bilad taluk, Valsad district (Gujarat Maharashtra Border).

In her letter, the DC of Dakshina Kannada requested that the men are provided with sufficient care, which includes facilitating proper accommodation and food.

The sudden announcement of lockdown by PM is appreciated step. I wonder if it lockdown announced on pre note then some proactive groups or individuals ( i am not blame any cast or creeds if u feel like that in advance i am sorry') spread all over India and they succeeded in their plan. Yes general public facing difficulties but the decision took on entire country's welfare and seftey perspective.
