Mangaluru: Shakthi Residential School inducts new office bearers

Mangaluru, Aug 14: The investiture ceremony of Shakthi Residential School, here for the academic year 2018-19 was held in the school premises.

The event began with a guard of honour, a memorable welcome to the guest, Ravindranath Shetty by the cabinet leaders.

The lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries marked the beginning of the event. The students sung a relevant song which signifies the removal of darkness and continuous upward movement of the flame, which denotes the path of wisdom and divinity. It was followed by the school prayer song.



The dignitaries of the day managing trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna temple, K C Naik, chief guest, Ravindranath Shetty, NCC officer, Baikady Janardhana Achar, administrator of Shakthi Education Trust, Prabhakara G S, principal of Shakthi PU College Naseem Banu, institute development officer and Ramesh chief advisor graced the event.

Principal Madhulika welcomed the gathering. Poornima introduced the chief guest. The chief guest installed the office bearers by conferring the sashes and badges. The principal of the school administered the oath to the cabinet leaders. The students pledged to fulfil the vision of the school abiding by the qualities of a true leader. The chief guest enlighted and motivated the gathering with his profound words. The school flag was handed over to the headboy- Gagan and headgirl- Disha, a symbolic representation of handing over the responsibility.

The vote of Thanks was proposed by Priyanka.
