Many of the Librarians of the world play an important role in the intellectual life of our changing times. Librarians get the first exposure of all the Books and Magazines of the world today. The Librarians take the best interest in any new Book that is being published, and they go thru the headlines or the Index , and get to know the overall taste of the book. The Librarians have authority to make recommendations which is the best book worth investing in for the benefit of the readers.

Today, with the help of the Computers, a Librarian can get the best and the first access over new book published so that they can order those new books for the benefit of their library. If I had the best benefit of a good Librarian for our Library in Mangalore, by this time we would have had more than 100000 Books in stock for the benefit of our readers. It cost us lots of money just to make the Index Catalog but the response for our International Library was very poor indeed. We even gave some of the best collection if Harvard Business Books to St. Agnes College.
