Moodbidri: IEEE international conference at MITE on Aug 13 and 14

Moodbidri, Aug 10: The ‘2018 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing, VLSI, Electrical Circuits and Robotics’ (DISCOVER) is being conducted by the IEEE Mangaluru sub-section at Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE), Moodbidri, on August 13 and 14. The conference will be inaugurated by Dr Tulika Mitra, professor of Computer Science at School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). The inauguration of the conference is scheduled on August 13 at MITE campus.

Prof Alok Rastogi, associate professor and associate director of CASF, Binghamton University, New York, USA, Dr Takeshi Kumaki, professor, department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Japan, Dr Vishwakumara Kaayargadde, COO & co-founder, Sankhya Labs Bengaluru, shall constitute the team of keynote speakers. After a series of keynote talks, paper presentations have been planned to foster strong networking among the delegates. Accepted and presented papers shall be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library through IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP). Many international companies and national organisations will send their representatives to present their papers.

Dr Annappa from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka who is also chairman of IEEE Mangaluru sub-section along with Rajesh Chowta, chairman of MITE, Rajalaxmi Education Trust and Dr G L Easwara Prasad, principal, MITE shall be gracing the occasion. The valedictory function shall mark the end of the conference on August 14. This conference is conducted in association with Binghamton University, State University of New York. MITE has signed a memorandum (MoU) with Binghamton University to collaborate in teaching, research and culture.
