Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap holds ‘Traffic Control & Road Safety’ programme

Bantwal, Aug 10: Carmel College Modankap in collaboration with Bantwal town police station organised ‘Traffic Control & Road Safety Month Celebration-2018’ programme recently.

Chandrashekar, sub inspector, Bantwal town police station was the chief guest. He inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp. He enlightened the students about the importance of undertaking road safety measures to avoid accidents its effect on life. Chandrashekar also mentioned the provisions of Indian Penal Code applicable to road accidents.

Prof Sr M Supriya AC, the principal, presided over the programme. Vice principal and Student Welfare Officer, Sr Latha Fernandes AC, Red Cross Officer Vinitha, NSS officer Madhura, local beat offIcer and constable of Bantwal town police station Muthuraj were present at the programme.



Deepti II BCom welcomed the gathering. Iral Lobo II BCom compered the programme and Amrutha Alwa II BCom proposed the vote of thanks.
