Mangaluru, Jul 20: Balmatta cluster level Prathibha Karanji competitions were held at St Aloysius College Higher Primary School, Karangalpady on July 20. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the block resource person Geetha S and all other dignitaries of the day.
Geetha S in her message put forth the idea that these competitions are to develop competitive spirit and also a platform to present one’s talents in a wider range. Geetha S, CRP Benedicta D’Souza, and PTA vice-president Rekha Fernandes were present in the programme.
Headmistress Philomena Lewis welcomed the gathering while assistant headmaster Liya D’Souza thanked every one responsible for the success of the event. School teacher Irene Pais conducted the inaugural programme.
Later, the competitions kicked off at various venues.
