Mangalore, Jul 2: Speaking here on Sunday July 1, the district in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty stated that any development that affects the people adversely cannot be considered a development. Hence that kind of development will not entertained by the government.

He was speaking after inaugurating the bus stand building at Mudushedde and was referring to the developmental work at the Pilikula Nisarga Dhama affecting the lives of the   people of Mudushidde. He further stated that a meeting will be called to discuss the affects of the developmental work at Pilikula. 

Pilikula being a tourist spot has been attracting thousands of people and plans are afoot to adopt Mudushidde village to make it into a model tourist spot. 

Gram panchayat president S Shivram Malli said that owing to Nisarga Dhama the villagers are facing lot of problems and to protect their fundamental rights they will try and seek redressal in the court of law. 

Suratkal MLA Krishna J Palemar presided over the function.  ZP member Vanitha, businessman K C Nayak and Marappa Poojary were the chief guests on this occasion. 

Hindu Burial Ground committee honoree president Manjunath Bhandari, former taluk panchayat president Gokuldas Shetty, Pilikula Golf club member Manoj Shetty, Jayasheela Budale and tahasildar M Ramachandra were also present on the occasion.
