Moodbidri: Carmel School celebrates spirit of democracy, commemorates 75th Indian Constitution Day

Moodbidri, Nov 27: Carmel School  Moodbidri, commemorated 75th Indian Constitution Day with an inspiring and engaging program that highlighted the core values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event commenced with a prayer, setting a serene tone for the celebration, followed by a vibrant welcome dance symbolizing India's unity in diversity.

Students from Grade 5 shared the historical significance of Constitution Day, emphasizing the ideals of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity. A thought-provoking skit-dance on fundamental rights and duties captivated the audience, encouraging reflection on the responsibilities of every citizen. The Chief Guest, Mr. Vijaya Gowda Shibrikere, Notary, was warmly welcomed with a potted sapling by Sr. Gracilda A.C.the principal.In his inspiring address, he emphasized the importance of becoming responsible citizens, respecting all religions, and upholding India's unity in diversity.

The preamble reading, led by dignitaries and the audience, reinforced the shared commitment to upholding constitutional values.

Carmel School Moodbidri students excelled in the State-level tables competition conducted by Generation Next for Grades I to IX, winning multiple accolades. The winners were felicitated in a special ceremony, with Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C., the Principal, applauding their achievements.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to its success. This celebration was a testament to Carmel School's dedication to nurturing responsible citizens who cherish and uphold the values of the Constitution.
