Srinivas University's Institute of Aviation Studies students participate in National Youth Day

Mangaluru, Jan 18: The students of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, enthusiastically participated in the National Youth Day celebration organized by the Ramakrishna Mission on January 16. This event marked the 162nd birth anniversary of the visionary Swami Vivekananda, an iconic figure whose teachings continue to inspire youth across the globe.

The event provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions and activities, aligning with Swami Vivekananda's vision of youth empowerment and nation-building. The Institute of Aviation Studies, under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean and Anjana T V, HOD, facilitated the active participation of 130 students in the celebration.

The programme featured impactful sessions, including an awareness campaign on Swachh Bharath Abhiyan, where students learned about the importance of cleanliness and sustainable living. Another highlight of the event was an enlightening discussion on Ayurvedic practices. Experts shared practical insights into the significance of Ayurveda in modern lifestyles, inspiring students to incorporate these time-tested methods into their routines for a healthier and balanced life.

The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University remains committed to nurturing future leaders by encouraging participation in such transformative events.
