Bengaluru, Jan 12: Alliance University's Centre for women empowerment recently hosted a landmark conference on the role of women in shaping Viksit Bharat 2047. The event brought together esteemed speakers and attendees to explore the pivotal contributions of women in crafting a progressive and inclusive future for India.
The conference featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including Padma Shri Malathi Krishnamurthy Holla, international para athlete, and Dr Meghana Gaonkar, acclaimed actress in the Kannada film industry. Other notable speakers included Nandini Sarakar, global leader at Hitachi Energy, Dr Shobha Varthaman, director of community health and anesthesiologist; Dr Chaitra Narayan, founder of Kodagu Agritec Pvt Ltd; and Nivedita V Singh, originator of Wise Versa and vice president of the Alliance Alumni Association.
The conference aimed to inspire and empower women to take on leadership roles in shaping India's future.
