Karwar, Sep 21: The truck that had got stuck in the riverbed of the Gangavali after the Shiroor landslide has been located.

The truck, driven by Arjun, a native of Kerala, was washed into the Gangavali River on July 16 after the landslide occurred.

Due to high water levels, rescue teams were initially unable to find it. Diving expert Eshwar Malpe made continuous efforts to locate the vehicle, which has now been discovered near the site of the landslide, covered by a significant pile of stones and mud.

Preparations are underway to lift the truck after clearing the debris.
