Mangaluru: Three novices embrace consecrated life at Rosa Mystica Novitiate, Kinnikambla

Mangaluru, Apr 23: The Temporary Profession of three newly vested novices Sr Renisha Menezes, Sr Chandrika, and Sr Sofiya Rodrigues from Rosa Mystica Novitiate, Kinnikambla, was held on the April 22. The solemn occasion was marked with a Eucharistic celebration, officiated by Fr Joseph Martis, parish priest of Derebail parish, and concelebrated by Fr Roshan OP.

During the Eucharistic celebration, Sr Lilly Pereira, the provincial superior of Mangalore Province, received the vows of the newly professed sisters, officially welcoming them into the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany.

A short felicitation program followed, where the newly professed sisters were warmly congratulated by the Provincial Superior, their parents, family members, and the gathered community of sisters. The dedicated efforts of Sr Sonia, the novice directress, her assistant Sr Lilita, Sr Savitha D’Souza, and all those who contributed to the formation of the novices along with the sacrifices made by their parents were gratefully acknowledged.

The provincial superior honoured their parents with shawls as a token of appreciation. The newly professed sisters expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sr Rose Celine, the superior general, and her councillors for their prayerful support and blessings. They also extended sincere thanks to their provincial superior, vocation promoters, directresses, and their parents for their constant encouragement and guidance throughout their formation journey.

The celebration concluded with a festive meal, shared in a spirit of joy and fraternity. The Bethany Congregation rejoices with the newly professed sisters and wishes them abundant blessings as they embark on their consecrated life.
