Mangaluru: Mount Carmel stars dazzle brilliantly at ‘Agnathon 2k24’

Mangaluru, Sep 20: The students of Mount Carmel Central School, participated in the prestigious ‘Agnathon 2k24’, the inter-school and inter-college cultural competitions organised by St Agnes PU College on September 10.

Competing in various categories, the students showcased their exceptional talent and creativity, and brought home several accolades.

Achievements in the High School category:

First place in Growing rhythms–Thematic dance: Mahathi Bhat, Aishani Shreyasi, Dhwani Shetty, Akshara Shetty, Havish Shetty, Arvin D’Cunha, Saanvi Shetty, Krisha Shetty, Sakshi Karkada, Sudeeshna Shetty, Nandini R and Saniha S.

Second place in Taraana-Duet singing: Jinelle Pinto, Arvin D’Cunha.

Second place in Aurora-science model: Kripalee Shetty, Saanvi Shetty.

Third place in Whimsical bottle-Bottle painting: Jiah Shetty, Sudeeshna Shetty.

The collective efforts and achievements of the students in the high school category led them to win the overall championship at the event. Their success is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and passion for the arts and sciences.

In the PU category too, the senior secondary students performed their very best. They won

Second place in Aurora–model making: Ganesh Prasad Bhat, Sakshath Shetty;

Third place in Growing rhythms–Thematic dance : Mahathi Pavanaskar, Poorvi Purushotham, Diya Shetty, Amanda Menezes, Swasthi Bhandary, Ananya Monteiro, Disha N, Nawal Poojary, and Karen Lobo.

The school management, staff, students and parents have extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the winners for their dazzling performances. This victory not only highlights their talent but also reflects the vibrant cultural spirit of the institution.
