Mangaluru, Jul 13: In July, Krithi, a talented student from St Agnes School CBSE in grade 3, made a significant impact at the 2nd Karnataka State Speed Skating Open Championship, Season 2. Her remarkable skills and dedication were on display at the event held in Devakathikoppa, Shimoga, organized by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association and recognized by the Roller-Skating Federation of India.
Krithi’s exceptional achievements shone through during the competition.
Competing in the 7-9 years category, Krithi’s prowess was evident as she clinched a gold medal in the 100m race and silver medals in both the 1-lap and 1000m road races. Her dedication and determination were on full display, highlighting her exceptional skills and relentless spirit on the track.
A valued member of the Mangalore Roller Skating Club, Krithi owes a large part of her success to the expert mentorship of coaches Mahesh Kumar and Shravan Mahesh. Their guidance and training have been instrumental in shaping Krithi into the proficient athlete she is today.
Despite her focus on skating, Krithi also excels academically. Her ability to balance both her studies and athletic pursuits is a testament to her drive and discipline, earning her recognition both on and off the track.
