Kasargod, Jun 22: Udaya Secondary School held its PTA meeting on June 22, featuring several key figures from the school community. The event took place in the school auditorium and was marked by significant discussions and changes in the PTA leadership.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome by Vinitha D’Souza, followed by a comprehensive report presented by Vijaya D’Souza, detailing the PTA’s activities and achievements over the past year.
Fr Leo Lasrado delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the pivotal role of parents in shaping their children's lives. He highlighted the importance of active parental involvement in education and personal development.
Principal Jerald Ivan Crasta spoke about the significance of discipline within the school environment. He underscored the necessity for students to adhere to the school's rules and regulations to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
The meeting also featured the formal introduction of the newly elected PTA president, Rekha Monteiro, who will be taking over from the outgoing president, Abdul Razak. The handover marked a new chapter for the PTA, with Rekha Monteiro expressing her commitment to continuing the excellent work of her predecessor and enhancing the PTA's role in the school community.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ashalatha, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for their participation and support.
