Washington, Apr 19: A question-and-answer session with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office was abruptly interrupted on Friday when an 11-year-old girl, identified as Philomena, fainted during the event. The girl is the granddaughter of Mehmet Oz, who had just been sworn in as the new Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

As the media session began, White House aides quickly moved to escort reporters and photographers out of the room. "Everybody out, please move," one aide was heard saying on the video feed, directing the press to vacate the area. "No photos!" the aide added, as they worked to clear the space.

Trump, visibly concerned, walked over to check on Philomena as the situation unfolded. A White House official later confirmed that the girl is doing well, saying, “A minor family member fainted during Dr Oz’s swearing-in ceremony in the Oval Office. We are happy to say she is OK.”

The incident occurred during the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Mehmet Oz, the television personality-turned-politician, who had been appointed by Trump to lead the CMS. Oz was sworn in by Robert F Kennedy, Jr, as announced by the White House.
