Karkala: Fire mishap in hotel – Loss estimated at Rs 1.2 lac

Karkala, Mar 4: A hotel was gutted in fire near Kariyakallu Junction of Kasaba village in the taluk on March 3.

The hotel was owned by Nirmala Rao.

Refrigerator, grinder, mixer, utensils, grocery and electrical wiring is burnt down in the mishap.

Fire service personnel, with the help of locals, brought the fire under control. The loss is estimated to be Rs 1.2 lac.
