Mangalore: Body of Woman Found in River

Mangalore, Feb 3: On Wednesday February 2, the body of a woman was found floating in River Phalguni, at Maravoor railway bridge near Bajpe. Later, the identity of the body was established. It is said that Gulabi (65), the woman in question, had visited the house of her daughter, Saraswati, in Pachchnadi. She had started back for her home in Derebail Konchady in the city, at around 7.30 pm on Tuesday, but had gone missing thereafter.

Reportedly, the lady was suffering from chronic asthma. The family members suspect that Gulabi decided to jump into river because of her health problems.
