Mangaluru: Medical Imaging CME 2024, held at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University)

Mangaluru, Oct 30: The Medical Imaging Technology unit of Yenepoya School of Allied Health Sciences organised a Medical Imaging CME on the theme "Practical Approaches to Radiation Protection in Medical Practices" in Yendurance zone, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) here on October 28.

More than 460 delegates participated in the CME. The event was presided over by Dr B H Sripathi Rao, pro vice chancellor, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). Dr Devadasa Acharya, professor & HoD, Radiodiagnosis & Medical Imaging, Yenepoya Medical College Hospital was the chief guest. Dr Jayapalan K, senior medical physicist & radiation safety officer, Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Mangaluru was the guest of honor. Dr Mamatha Kunder, vice principal, Yenepoya School of Allied Health Care Professions graced the occasion.

Karthik S, program coordinator, MIT, Yenepoya Allied and Healthcare professions welcomed the gathering and Vashist Baburao Mhalsekar, assistant professor, MIT proposed a vote of thanks. The organising committee included Adithya G Rao, Swati Kumari, Renisha Divina D'Souza, Joswita Monterio, Kamalesh C, Akhil Raj P and Dani N Jijo.
