DKCA-Century T20 Cricket: Govindas College, Nethaji Parkala Embrace Victory

The DKCA-Century T20 cricket tournament was held between Govindas College Surathkal V/S Ullal Sports Foundation, at Nehru Maidan on Wednesday February 2.
 
Having won the toss, Govindas college elected to bat first against Ullal sports foundation.  Govindas set the target of 138 runs for the loss of three wickets. The top scorers were Shivraj (46) and Pradeep Salian (30). Imran Ali captured one wicket conceding 25 runs.

In reply Ullal sports foundation hit 95 runs for 10 wickets in 16.5 overs. Harshith who bowled 3.5 overs, captured 7 wickets with 20 runs and with one maiden over.
At the end Govindas College claimed victory by 43 runs.

The second match of the day was played between Nethaji Parkala v/s Sridevi College, Mangalore. Nethaji team won the toss and set the target of 146 for the loss of 5 wickets, in 20 overs. Achuth was the top scorer with 56 runs while Anwar of Nethaji Parkala bowled economically, taking 3 wicket for 16 runs.
Sridevi lost the match by 6 wickets, scoring 107 in 20 overs.
