Mangalore, Jan 26: Indian Catholic Press Association (ICPA) and department of Mass Communication, St Aloysius College are organizing photography and poster competition for students at Pastoral Centre, Shanti Kiran, Nanthoor, at 9.30 am, here on Jan 29.
The contest is open for students of all streams of graduation and post-graduation. The interested students are expected to bring their own cameras and materials required for the poster competition. The topics will be given on the spot.
The cash prizes of Rs 1,500 to the winners and two consolation prizes of Rs 750 each will be awarded. The photos and the posters will be screened during the ICPA Media Seminar to be held on the same day. ‘New Technologies: How India’s Youth are Using them Today’ is the theme of the seminar.
