Bangalore, Oct 5: October 4th is a memorable day for the Church of Karnataka. The Catholic Council of Karnataka (CCK) during its general body meeting at the Regional Pastoral Centre (KROSS) honoured Justice B V Pinto.
Fr Faustine Lobo, public relations officer of KRCBC ecscorted Justice B V Pinto along with the Archbishop Bernard Moras from Bangalore and other Bishops of Mysore, Gulburga, Belthangady, Shimoga and Belgaum.
Fr Faustine Lobo introduced Justice B V Pinto, after which the president of CCK and Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council (KRCBC) Dr Bernard Moras honoured Pinto on behalf of CCK. He further appreciated Pinto for his committed service to the church and society.
In response, Justice B V Pinto expressed his sentiments of gratitude towards all the Catholic institutions which have contributed to his success. He appreciated all the bishops for their support and sense of appreciation which he has experienced in his life.
Fr Freddy Raj, secretary of CCK proposed the vote of thanks.
