Mangaluru, Dec 18: Shobharaj Pavooru, director of 'Pepperere Pererere' Tulu movie, has appealed to Tulu cinema lovers all over the world, that arrangements are being made to show the movie to all Tuluvas around the globe at a time through OTT (over-the-top). So the date of release of the movie is postponed. He has sought cooperation for the Tulu cine lovers in this regard.
Speaking at the press conference in the city on Wednesday, December 16, Shobharaj said, "As some people, who took the tickets of the cinema from us to sell to the spectators, have not paid the proceeds to the cinema team, the names of such people who bought tickets from them are not registered with us.
"Many people have bought tickets from third parties, who took the tickets from us to sell. However, some of them have not got the messages that the cinema team has sent. We have received phone calls from such people. We are collecting information from all the buyers in order to provide justice to them.
"Due to all these reasons, we have postponed the release date of the movie. We had to arrive at the decision of streaming the movie through our own organization Nishan Varun Movies."
Shobharaj also said that the team of movie 'Pepperere Pererere' is helping many poor people in coalition with Tulukoota Kuwait, KCWA, Oman Tuluver, UAE Tuluver and Biruver Kudla organizations.
Nishant Krishna Bhandary, Varun Salian, Prakash Kuthettur and Prashant Anchan of the movie team were present.
