Mangaluru, Dec 8: The Srinivas University IEEE student branch on December 5 and 6 organized a workshop on 'Documentation Using Latex'.

Md Abdul Raheman, assistant professor of Gd II from the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NMAMIT Nitte was the resource person. At the workshop, the resource person explained about writing LaTex code, using required tools for the purpose, formatting the document, using packages, inserting equation, setting page styles, working with figures and tables, adding bibliography and citations, editing IEEE paper templates and debugging errors.

The hands-on workshop was attended by 40 participants including members of the IEEE Srinivas University student branch and research scholars of Srinivas University. Vikranth K, a member, of the Publicity Committee of IEEE Shrinivas University student branch, moderated the workshop.

The workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr Krishna Prasad K, counselor of IEEE SUSB.
