Mangaluru, Aug 8: Eighth day novena prior to feast of St Lawrence was held at Bondel Church on Saturday, August 8.
Intention of novena was for ‘To pray for families who are going through the sufferings due to drugs and alcohol abuse’.
Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, parish priest, St Lawrence Church Bondel, was the main celebrant. Fr Clifford Pinto, principal, St Lawrence School Bondel, proclaimed word of God. Fr Rupesh Tauro con-celebrated the Mass.
Special prayers were offered for all those who are affected by alcohol and also for families affected by drug abuse.
