Mangaluru: Seven more succumb to coronavirus, DK death toll rises to 38

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Seven people succumbed to coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada district on Friday July 10.

The victims are six males aged 48, 55, 57, 65, 67, 68 and a female aged 58. 

With this, the death toll in the district has risen to 38.

It may be recalled, a man, aged 35, resident of Hosabettu, died at Wenlock, the district Covid hospital in the morning today.

    this is going out of control.
    Please administer stong medicine.
    Government please release paracetamol tablets to general public. Make in available in medical store. Remove restrictions. in case of fever. Self medicine is also ok. Infection will be reduced. Early medicine required.. do not delay medication

    I agree - Government should have relaxed rules for sale of paracetamol, cough syrup etc at the start of Unlock 1.0 itself. These are over the counter medicine and must remain so.

    Paracetamol is not a cure for COVID . It will only bring down the fever.. in fact if paracetamol is available, patient will take it and have a feeling of being well and roam around even more and spread it to more people! I think non availability of paracetamol is a good idea to ensure that people seek help and are identified sooner
