Karkala, Apr 24: A team lead by rural police station inspector Nasir Hussain arrested two people for the theft of Rs 40 lac worth machinery installed at a crusher at Sooda village.

Earlier, Suresh Shetty had lodged a police complaint stating that the machinery installed at the crusher in an area of 3.5 acres was stolen between the period February 27 and April 22.

Sooda-based teacher Rithesh Shetty (50) and Charan Nayak Sooda (29) are the arrested accused of the theft.

Accused Charan works as a reporter for a news channel. He had called scrap dealers Hussain and Ismael inside the crusher belonging to complainant Suresh and had told them that the crusher was bought several years ago by him. “As the machinery has remained unused for several years, I want to dispose it off,” he had told them.

The area was cleaned by JCB and it took nearly a week to dismantle the machinery. Charan had arranged lunch and snacks for the workers when they were working.

Meanwhile, the scrap dealers had deposited Rs one lac to the bank account of Charan and paid another Rs 80,000 in cash. Charan has confessed during investigations that he had paid Rs 50,000 out of it to Rithesh.

Police inspector Nasir Hussain produced Charan and Rithesh in the court. Charan has been remanded to police custody. Police circle inspector Sampath Kumar is investigating the case.

Please hang on, oh! Mighty judge of the social media. So, why don't you apply for the post rather than judging people from an article without having a clear agenda over the facts and the people involved.
Seriously this flexibility of our nation to provide internet and cellphone to every man sometimes becomes a lethal weapon for the illiterates of the society. I wish you had a good headmaster so that you don't puke your nuisance all over the comment section .

    Mr. Langoolacharya
Firstly with all due respect before being the pandit on social media I would be highly obliged if you are clear on the facts and stop misleading people with your false allegations.

    2. Best headmaster till date in the village of Sooda
    3. More than 30 + marriages funded completely by Rithesh Shetty
    4. More than 30 houses partially funded under his vision.
5 . Local assistance provided to the local people of Sooda which your government has failed to do till date in terms of documents, funds, education.
    6. Improved the school of Sooda from his own funds
    7. Frontier for organizing every major events in the village till date

    And the deeds are endless
And for actual figures of the facts please don't be shy to reach back to me.
Boss, it's very easy to point at someone by sitting in front of desktop and type the bullshit thoughts as you did from some part of the world. What takes effort is to come out and actually provide a helping hand to people and serve your own mother town.
The intention is not to hurt you but an alarm to change your thoughts and again please stop misleading people from the some amount of knowledge you possess about the matter.
It's truly said with great fame comes the blame so is it.
And if you really want to do something please donate your American dollars to improve the conditions in your village and small help would do alot of difference .
If you can't do that, please stop your nuisance when somebody else does something good.

You mean the Rs 40 lac worth machinery installed at a crusher belonging to Suresh Shetty was in fact bought from scrap dealers Hussain and Ismael originally and was eventually restored to the original owners?
