Bengaluru, Apr 22: The state government has decided to relax the lockdown and announced new guidelines to be followed from the midnight of Wednesday, April 22. But the lockdown will continue strictly in ‘Containment Zones’.
The relaxation does not mean than two-wheelers, inter-district movement or public transport will be allowed.
Permission is given to open truck repair garages, Dhabas, courier services, plumber, electrician, carpenters, cable and DTH operators, online delivery organizations for essential items and food processing units.

In rural areas construction work of buildings, agricultural-related works and fishing will be allowed to function.
None of these relaxations are applicable to containment zones.
The present lockdown rules will continue for bus services, metro, auto-rickshaw, cab, trains, sale of liquor, religious functions, cinema halls, malls, IT BT companies, school and colleges.
