Bengaluru, Mar 17: Mohammed Nalapad, son of MLA N A Harris, who was the main accused in the UB City assault case is trying to enter state politics. He was accused of causing a car accident recently. Even before its memory has faded, he is reportedly involved in one more case of assault.
It is said that Mohammed Nalapad and his gang has assaulted the Congress workers. It is alleged that Mohammed Nalapad and his gang have attacked Sachin Gowda, who is a Congress worker. Victim Sachin Gowda is about to file a complaint with the police with regard to this incident. However, Nalapad who arrived to the Vaiyalikaval police station before Sachin Gowda reached there has filed a complaint.
A youth Congress programme was organized on Sunday, March 15. During this programme, a verbal argument reportedly ensued between Sachin Gowda and youth Congress president. When Nalapad tried to intervene, it is said that, Sachin Gowda had verbally abused Mohammed Nalapad and threatened to malign him in media. So Mohammed Nalapad has filed a complaint in police station.
After filing complaint in the police station, speaking to the press, Mohammed Nalapad said, "Young India Ki Bolo programme was organized by youth Congress on Sunday in the city. I was also a representative of that programme. Prizes were given to five people. I did not win any prize. Sachin Gowda also got defeated. So he was bit upset about it. He started creating ruckus as to why he was not called on the stage by Gautam. He also had a verbal spat with Shivakumar. When I tried to pacify him, he scolded me also. During this some scuffle has taken place. Later the people present there took Sachin Gowda by car. He had threatened that he will take this to media, while leaving the premises of the event. So I have filed a police complaint."
Nalapad also said that he will approach KPCC president D K Shivakumar and apprise him of the situation. "All will not lie. I have filed a complaint on the basis of what has happened during the event. If I have committed any mistake, I will ask for forgiveness," added Mohammed Nalapad.
