Moodbidri, Mar 15: To encourage excellence and innovation in the field of business, Sadhana Entrepreneur Association, Moodbidri has announced 'Sadhana Awards -2020’.

'Sadhana' an association of Catholic entrepreneurs of Moodbidri deanery, headed by Catholic Sabha, was inaugurated at Corpus Christi Church hall in November 2018. The association works as a link between the Catholic entrepreneurs of Moodbidri deanery. It also conducts various programmes to support young entrepreneurs and recognizes the socio-economic services of senior entrepreneurs with honours and felicitations.

Nominations for the awards are invited in the following categories:

Lifetime business achiever
Youth entrepreneur
Woman entrepreneur
NRI entrepreneur
Professional service

To qualify for the award, the entrepreneur must belong to the Catholic community and should be from the Moodbidri deanery. The award ceremony will be presented on May 31 at Corpus Christi Church hall in Moodbidri.

Those applying for this award also need to have the following eligibility criteria:

Lifetime business achiever: Candidate should be born before January 1955 and should have 25 years of experience in owning a business.

Youth entrepreneur: He/she should have been born after January 1, 1990, and should have a minimum of 10 years experience in owning a business.

Woman entrepreneur: Applicant must be engaged in the business since the past 25 years.

NRI entrepreneur: He/she should be of Indian origin and a resident of Moodbidri for 10 years. He should also have a business or partnership in a business in any part of the globe.

Professional service: He or she should be engaged in any profession until June 30.

Applications of those who have retired and who have taken voluntary retirement will not be considered.

The last date for submission of the application is April 30.
