It is a great event. And Mangalore Konkans executes it in their grand signature style as they did in 2010. Mr. James Mendonca is a genuine leader and he has great support of Mangalorean community in the UAE and the entire Gulf.

I wish MK all the best in this project and hope all participants give their best no matter who wins. Finally everybody will be a winner.

I fully support Manual DCosta's thoughts about increasing prize money.

The important is not prize amount. It is Title winning. Money will be spent within no time. But GVOM title will remain forever. At present financial crisis in Gulf, it is very difficult to get sponsors for any programs specially for regional languages like Konkani. It is a great thing that still Konkani programs are happening in Gulf with the hardship of dedicated people and associations. I don't think Mangalore Konkans will deny if someone with kind heart comes in front to double the prize money without expecting anything in return.
