Mumbai, Feb 23: Actress Yami Gautam marked the first anniversary of her political action thriller Article 370 with a heartfelt tribute, calling it a privilege to be part of such a powerful and real story.

Taking to Instagram, Yami shared stills from the film and wrote, "Rarely does a film come along with a story so powerful, so unbelievable, yet so real, that being a part of it feels like a privilege. #Article370 is more than just a film—it’s a story that needed to be told, and I am truly honored to have played a part in it."

Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, Article 370 starred Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar. The film, released worldwide on February 23, 2024, followed the gripping story of an intelligence agent on a secret mission to counter terrorism in Kashmir by rendering Article 370 ineffective.

Meanwhile, Yami’s latest release, Dhoom Dhaam, starring Pratik Gandhi, premiered on Netflix. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film revolves around a newlywed couple whose first night turns into an unexpected adventure filled with deception and surprises.

Produced by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jyoti Deshpande, Dhoom Dhaam presents Yami in a fresh role. Speaking about her character Koyal, she said, “She defies the usual ‘bride’ stereotypes without being brash or bullish. This film is a wild, unpredictable ride, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”

Dhoom Dhaam is now streaming on Netflix.
