Ballari, Feb 23: Right-wing outfit Sri Rama Sene has allegedly announced a bounty of Rs 10 lac to whoever kills student activist Amulya Leona, who was recently arrested for raising pro-Pakistan slogans at a rally in Bengaluru.
A video has gone viral on social media in which it is alleged that Sanjeeva Maradi, district president of Ballari unit of Sri Rama Sene says, "Amulya Leona, who has raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad should not be released at any cost. If she is released we will encounter her or pay a reward of Rs 10 lac to anyone who encounters her."

It is said that Sanjeeva Maradi gave this statement during a protest held by Sri Rama Sene against Amulya Leona at the Rotary Circle at Hospet on Friday February 21. Sanjeeva Maradi called Amulya a 'traitor' of India and said that state and central governments should not give her bail.
Amulya was arrested after she raised 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans at a rally against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (ACT) in which AIMIM chief Asasuddin Owaisi was also present. Amulya was dragged off the stage by the police, and Owaisi was quick to condemn Amulya's action and distanced himself and his party from her speech.
Meanwhile, Siddalinga Swami of Andola Karuneshwara Math also gave a statement in which he said that girls who are very young and speak against Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be dealt in the same manner as journalist Gauri Lankesh.
The video of Siddalinga Swami also went viral on social media on Saturday, February 22, though the statement was given by the swami on February 2 in a programme at Raichur. It is said that the Swami was referring to a certain girl at a protest in Delhi who allegedly spoke ill against Modi and Amit Shah.
