Riyadh, Oct 18: Hussain Bendrala (55) breathed his last following a heart attack here, recently.
Hussain, who originally hails from Bendrala village at Kakkinje in Belthangady taluk in Dakshina Kannada in Karnataka, was working at a super market near Prince Sultan University at Olaya here since last six years. Sources informed Daijiworld correspondent that the deceased was suffering from sugar and high cholesterol problem and under regular medical treatment for the cause. And on the day of the death, Hussain was not feeling well throughout and suffered serious chest pain around 2 am. Though he was taken to the hospital immediately by his relatives and roommates, he was declared brought dead by the hospital authorities.
The corpse was kept in Somaishi Hospital here in Riyadh until the funeral rite was conducted after Jum’ah Prayer at Al-Rajhi Mosque on Friday October 16. All the legal formalities including the authorization letter from his wife, Safiya and his mother Hawwamma in India were done in order to collect and bury the remains in the kingdom. The burial certificate was also collected by the deceased’s relative from the Saudi Department in charge of the cemetery, after the cadaver was laid to rest at Naseem Cemetery. The burial rite was done in the presence of many of his relatives, friends and well-wishers.
Deceased Hussain was the son of late Bendrala Ibrahim. He is survived by his wife, mother and two children, a daughter named Tasreena, engineering student and a son-named Tanveer, PUC student.
Shihab Thottkkad, general secretary of Pravaasi Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Abdul Jabbar Usman Nellyadi, Hussain and Shamsheer worked towards getting the administrative procedures done and have expressed their deep condolences on the sudden death of Hussain Bendrala.
