Media Release

Dubai, Apr 21: Fortune Group of Hotels has announced the grand opening of its latest culinary concept, Boatman’s Hub located at Dubai Grand Hotel by Fortune, Al Qusais, Dubai. It is a thematic seafood restaurant that promises to deliver an authentic coastal dining experience unlike any other in the city.

The grand launch event will take place on Wednesday, April 23 at 7 pm, at the venue itself, in the presence of distinguished guests and dignitaries.

The restaurant will be inaugurated by Ronald Colaco, renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist. Rita Rose, Indian singer, actress, and the living legend of Goa; and Sarvotham Shetty, president, Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha will also grace the occasion. Their presence will mark a significant moment in the Fortune Group’s journey of culinary excellence.

Boatman’s Hub is inspired by the rich coastal traditions of Mangaluru, Goa, and Malvan, and brings together these three regional cuisines in one thoughtfully curated menu. The restaurant is designed to transport guests to the shoreline, blending traditional décor with modern comfort and live duet performances every evening that set a soulful, seaside ambiance.

At the heart of this concept is award-winning celebrity chef Sarita Chavan, flown in specially from Goa, who has crafted the menu using her signature hand-picked spice blends to recreate bold, authentic flavors that celebrate the essence of India’s western coast.

The Boatman’s Hub is poised to fill a culinary gap in Dubai’s seafood scene, offering a menu that is rich, nostalgic, and truly regional in character.

“We are thrilled to unveil Boatman’s Hub as part of our expanding F&B portfolio,” said Praveen Shetty, chairman of Fortune Group of Hotels. “Boatman’s Hub is very close to my heart. It’s more than just a restaurant it’s a celebration of coastal culture, heritage, and cuisine. We saw a clear gap in the market for truly authentic Mangalorean, Goan, and Malvani seafood, and with the expertise of chef Sarita, we’ve brought that soulful experience to Dubai. I’m proud to see this concept come to life under the Fortune banner, and we look forward to welcoming guests who want to explore coastal India right here in the heart of the UAE.”

With its warm, immersive interiors, live entertainment, and truly coastal fare, Boatman’s Hub promises to be the go-to destination for seafood lovers and culture seekers alike.
