Mumbai, Apr 20: Actress Shruti Pandey, who will soon be seen sharing screen space with Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh in the much-anticipated crime thriller Raid 2, opened up about her experience on set—revealing whether she fell victim to Ajay’s famous pranks.

In an exclusive interaction with IANS, Shruti quipped, “I actually said recently that I hope to be part of some pranks in my future projects! But during this shoot, I wasn’t involved in any. They did have their fun on set, but I wasn’t part of those moments. Hopefully next time!”

While the prank department may have passed her by this time, Shruti had nothing but admiration for her co-stars. “It was truly special. Getting a chance to work with such legendary actors was a huge milestone for me,” she said, adding that observing the seasoned stars in action offered her an invaluable learning experience.

Set to hit theatres on May 1, Raid 2 marks a gripping return to the world of Income Tax officer Amay Patnaik, played by Ajay Devgn, who now faces off against his most formidable adversary yet—Dadabhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh.

“The chemistry between Mr. Ritesh and Mr. Ajay is something audiences will witness for the first time, and it’s going to be exciting!” Shruti shared. The trailer has already generated strong buzz, with audiences praising its visuals and music, which is helmed by composer Amit Trivedi.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, the film is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Raid.

With anticipation building, fans will soon find out whether Ajay’s onscreen pranks are as compelling as the off-screen ones he's known for—this time, Shruti might just have to wait her turn!
