Puttur: Young man flashes machete in public - Video goes viral

Puttur, Sep 25: A young man created panic situation in Kaniyoor near here while he flashed a machete in public. The people did not know how to respond as they feared that he would attack them. 

Avinash is the person who did this act in front of the villagers. 

Some people phoned Bellare police station regarding the incident. Some youths were criticised for not doing anything other than following Avinash and recording the incident in their mobile phones.

 

When police arrived and apprehended Avinash, they came to know that he was not mentally sound. Then the police called the family members of Avinash. Later with their help, he was taken to a hospital in Mangaluru. 

The video of the incident has gone viral since then.

    Yeah otherwise by this time the minority community would be declared democracy is in danger as usual isn't it. And this is common in human behavior whoever (minority) lives with majority people they will blame them for their living style & culture, If you lives in Mumbai they will blame local Maharastrians, in Bangalore they will blame local Kannadigas, In India they will blame Hindus, In USA they will blame native Americans and In Pakistan they will blame Muslims.

    What a shame. Police and public just following one man with a machete. I understand the unarmed public, but what about the police. One swing of their lathi on his arm would have disarmed him or one kick on his ligament behind the knee would have put this guy down on his knee. Guts are missing these days as everyone is busy shooting a video with their cell phones expecting someone else to do the needful.

    till now we read that the cow thieves flashes machete in front poor farmers & stolen the cows from hut. but in this case he is doing flashes machete in public without any reason or without any intention to harm anyone. so name is immaterial here. if still some one want to compare the name then we should also compare the attitude & intention of those incidents.
