Mangaluru, Aug 28: “Making children grow is sacred work. We have to involve children for the formation of new society. The responsibility of parents in this respect is immense. The future of children will be bright only when teachers and parents coordinate. St Aloysius educational institute which has a history of centuries behind it, is always open for you,” said St Aloysius educational institute rector Fr Dionysisus Vas S J. He was speaking after presiding over the annual general meeting of parents teachers association at St Aloysius PU College for the year 2019.

Shalini Ayyappa and Pramila Rao, resource persons in their message said that we have to correct the minds of children when we face technical era. “The part of parents here is important,” they said.

College principal Fr Clifford Sequeira S J said that life gets a meaning only when there is discipline in education. “Therefore, parents should join hands with teachers in following regulations in the college,” he said.

Vice principal Shalet D’ Souza, Muralikrishna G M and programme organizer Anita Pinto were present. Nearly 2,000 parents took part along with teachers.
