Mangaluru, Aug 19: The department of Economics of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) here, will inaugurate a state level intercollegiate economics fest 'ECONOVANZA-2019' on Wednesday August 21 at Eric Mathias Hall at 9.30 am.
Dr Shripathy Kalluaraya P, finance officer and professor of Economics, Mangalore University will be the chief guest of the programme.
Fr Dr Praveen Martis SJ, principal, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru will preside over the programme.
Organised for the first time in 2015, Econovanza 2019 is the fifth edition. There will be ten different competitions organised around the theme 'Save Resources' held and over 250 students from 22 different colleges from Karnataka and Kerala have already confirmed their participation in these events.
The valedictory and prize distribution programme will be held on the same day at 3.30 pm at the same venue.
